3.3.0A Support

From now on client 3.3.0a is supported by the server. We are working on getting arena support into the game as well as looking into bugs caused by the switch from 3.2.x client branch to the 3.3.x. The latest revision-logs are available on the following url: http://www.codeserver.org/codeserver/progress/revisionlog/Latest/.

The revision-log is automatically posted in the our forums and available as RSS-Feed.

Server Upgraded To 3.3.0

The server has been upgraded to support client version 3.3.0. Together with this update the spell system has been improved as well as the aura system. Although we tried our best to prevent bugs you should be aware that because of all the changes some features that previously worked can now be broken (and the other way around, but we don't expect too complaints about that ). To facilitate our quest in fixing all spells (or at least most of them) we provided you with a tool to track what works and what doesn't. The tool is webbased and can be accessed by anyone that has a browser not dating from the stone age (hence; internet explorer 6 and bellow). It is available on this url: http://www.codeserver.org/codeserver/spells/list/.

I expect the current revision (1160; thus the one deployed today supporting 3.3.0) of the server t obe upgraded again tomorrow to fix some unforseen problems, which always seem to turn up after it has been put on the live server (darn bugs).

Forums Upgraded To Version 3.0.4

The forums have been upgraded to version 3.0.4. With this upgrade a new module, named the Shoutbox has been added! The box can be used for a quick chat with other members that are currently online.

We are also working on better integrating the Game with the main website. Currently the login functionality is still disabled but once we deem the system usable it will be opened for the public. If you have any suggestions as to what features should be available on the website with regards to the interaction between your characters and the website leave use comment!

And don't forget to tell us what you think about the new website!

Codeserver.org Domain Transfer

This weekend our main domain, codeserver.org will be transferred to a new hosting location. Our current (and soon previous) hoster does not offer domain nor hosting services anymore. I am not sure how long it will take before the domain is fully transferred. Note that this might imply some downtime. Your ISP's nameservers should be updated in 1 hour but it can also take as long as 48-72 hours depending on the DNS policy of your ISP.

The forums will not be affected by this transfer.
